Osram/Sylvania HBO100W/2 Mercury Short-Arc Lamp
Osram HBO lamps are short arc lamps in which the discharge arc fires in an atmosphere of mercury vapor under high pressure. Since HBO lamps give off a great deal of ultraviolet radiation, they are almost exclusively employed in technical-scientific applications, e.g. fluorescent microscopy, hardening of adhesives, or in material testing. HBO lamps are available in performances between 50 and 200W. Osram/Sylvania HBO lamps provide a high radiation output in the ultraviolet and visible range.
