Many people do not know what a
CFL bulb is. The abbreviation CFL stands for the words
compact fluorescent light. In 1928, a new company by the name of Thorn Lighting blossomed. Thorn Lighting revolutionized the lighting industry by introducing the
CFL bulb. This new light bulb design was introduced in the early 1980’s.
Compact fluorescent lamps are ultimately a combination of a fluorescent tube light and an incandescent light bulb. The conventional fluorescent tube was reconfigured, twisted, and molded. The new
compact fluorescent shape was fitted with a threaded metal socket, so it can fit into a conventional lamp socket.
The evolution of the compact fluorescent light bulb saves its users energy, ultimately saving them money.

Many people are converting to
compact fluorescent light bulbs. Government buildings are required to be equipped with these energy saving bulbs in order to save government money. Also
compact fluorescent bulbs have a much longer life than conventional incandescent bulbs. The incandescent bulb has become a legacy item and legacy items have no higher benefits to them than modern items. An incandescent light bulb is in no way better than a compact fluorescent bulb. We also have a large range of
aquarium lights that would suit any taste.
