Biolux 8 Air and Surface Ultraviolet Fixture
Biolux 8 - 8 Watt Germicidal air and surface irradiating fixture with handle. Stainless steel construction. Irradiates small areas and exposed surfaces with direct germicidal ultraviolet rays.
Applications include: Laboratories, Clean Rooms, Operating Rooms and etc.
Ultraviolet output is 1.6 Watts rated at 254nm.

Attractive looking UV-C source for small areas

I bought this UV light to control mold in my shower. I have been using a Clean Shower spray for several years, but it’s ability to suppress mold was limited, and I still had to slave scrubbing black mold off the tiles. The fixture comes well packed, completely assembled, with a 6 foot cord; just snap a UV lamp in, which was easy. I decided not to hang it on the wall because of the moisture in the bathroom, but use it as a movable unit. Nice, slick, rather solid design. Naturally, use it wisely: don’t touch the lamp with your fingers, don’t look at the UV light, don’t use it for tanning :-), avoid moist areas.
